#Iot Devices and Sensors

Wave height buoy with LoRaWAN and Lacuna Space LoRaWAN satellite connectivity is a solution for deploying dense sensor networks in a marine environment that enables acquiring granular information at an affordable cost. This cost-effective solution supports moored applications as well as drifting.

Key features:

  • Robust and simple mechanics
  • Standalone operation with optional solar power
  • Measurement of: average wave height, significant wave height and wave period, water temperature + a range of optional sensors
  • Support for advance sensing applications: tsunami detection, drift alarms and customized solutions
