Embedded Software Engineer

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer!

Would you like to join our interdisciplinary team of researchers and developers to work on exciting and always challenging projects, in collaboration with our international partners from all over the world?

We are expanding our crew with a motivated Embedded Software Engineer!

Main tasks and responsibilities of the new team member will be:

  • Development of IoT devices (NB-IoT, LoraWAN …) – specific experience not needed.
  • Development of embedded systems with microprocessors, ARM controllers, and Linux based embedded computers.
  • Independent performance of consulting work.
  • Active collaboration with other team members.
  • Preparation of technical documentation.
 
 

You are a great fit for this role if you have at least 5 of the following skills and experience:

  • Good knowledge of C programming.
  • Good knowledge of C++ programming language.
  • Software design skills, with understanding of good software engineering principles.
  • Good knowledge of Linux-based platform, infrastructure related to operating system configuration.
  • Good understanding of one scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Experience in using Git version control system.
  • Experience in writing Unit tests, preferred but not mandatory.
  • Active knowledge of English language.
  • Self-initiative, thoroughness and responsibility.
  • Capability of working independently.
